There is still time to register for Miss Aquila. This years pageant will feature Miss Amazing, students from our Special Education classes. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 17th. The pageant will be held on January 31st at 6:00pm in the auditorium.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk with administrators and teachers from the district’s schools and educational programs about positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.

Time is running out for your seniors to place their Cap & Gown orders!
In previous years, the deadline was December 1st, but since that falls right after Thanksgiving, we’ve decided to extend it to Friday, December 5th.

This will be the final opportunity for students to order their Cap & Gown without a $19.99 shipping and handling fee.
Orders placed after December 5th will incur the additional fee and may delay receiving the correct size in time for graduation.

Please post the graphic below and encourage all students from your non-buyer reports to get their order submitted as soon as possible to ensure everything arrives perfectly for their big day!

Congratulations to Ms. Nancy Bouknight. The Teacher Cadets have selected her as the November TALON Award Winner!

Cadet Redmond has been awarded the Legion of Valor (Bronze Cross) Award for 2025-2026. The Legion of Valor award is the highest award a cadet can receive in High School JROTC and College ROTC. Airport and Lexington Two are very proud of Cadet Redmond and this amazing honor.

As we approach the end of the semester, students in English 2, Biology 1, and US History and the Constitution will soon participate in End-of-Course (EOC) testing as required by the South Carolina Department of Education. Read this article for key dates and important reminders.

Come out and support your Airport Eagles on Wednesday, October 29th at the Sonic located at 2207 Airport Blvd. This is a wonderful fundraiser for our school and the perfect way to get ready for our rivalry game!!

Sonic is also sponsoring the Friday Night Rivals Game on Thursday, October 30th at 7:30pm. If you are not able to come out to the game, you can watch it on the Wach Fox 57 App, Wach 57.2, Cable 1250, Facebook Live and YouTube.

District elementary and middle school students saw a nearly double-digit average increase across all grade levels in SC READY ELA testing.  Lexington Two’s gains in at or above grade level reading mirrored those at the state level

The Perry Weather systems recently installed at Airport and Brookland-Cayce High Schools will track lightning and send alerts to appropriate staff within a 10-mile radius of the schools. Once detected,  within that 10-mile radius of the outdoor event facility or field, a loud horn alert also is activated

All students enrolled at a Lexington Two site may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge to your household each school day of the 2025-2026 school year. Families do not need to fill out a meal application, and no further action is required of you
